- A portion of all the proceeds from valued Premier Tours clients is set aside in a Wilderness Trust Fund to be allocated for conservation projects and social upliftment programs in Africa.
- Premier Tours works with Zoos across the United States to provide travel programs for their members to visit Africa and experience for themselves the reason to preserve the magnificent fauna and flora found on the continent. In return, Premier Tours contributes funds to each zoo for conservation programs.

CHILDREN IN THE WILDERNESS
Legendary actor Paul Newman was so enthralled by the safari experience arranged for him by Premier Tours that he provided the initial funding for a series of educational safaris for under privileged children from African villages. The “Children in the Wilderness” program as it has since become known has spread from Botswana to several southern African countries, and has become an annual event.
The program is dedicated to helping children whose childhoods have been disrupted by life threatening conditions such as illness, extreme poverty and the HIV / AIDS epidemic. Using environmental education, therapeutic reaction and good old fashion fun, Children in the Wilderness creates an awareness of interpersonal skills, an increased involvement in the environment while fostering the creative spirit. The program gives the children the skills to cope with life’s challenges and educates them with the life skills necessary to actualize their greatest potential, and in the process contributes to instilling a respect and passion for their natural environment.
This program has already come full circle, as some of the attendees of the very first program are currently employed as tourist guides.
Premier Tours takes great pride in having planted the seed from which this great program has evolved, and actively contributes funds on an annual basis to this wonderful cause.
