Pristine Kenyan Safari

Pristine Kenyan Safari

Join me personally for a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience Kenya’s stunning landscapes and magnificent wildlife like the early pioneers did before the tourists arrived.

I got back last week from an amazing safari to Kenya. The purpose of my trip was to evaluate the health and safety protocols that are being implemented by the Government and I am happy to advise that they are working extremely well.

In order to enter the country a negative Covid19 test taken a maximum of 96 hours prior to arrival is all that is required – no quarantining. All workers in safari lodges / camps as well as safari guides are tested regularly for Covid19, and it is mandatory to wash / sanitize your hands, as well as have a temperature check prior to entering any accommodation establishment or safari vehicle. As a result, I can honestly say I felt safer there than back in the USA.

With lock downs taking place in the very early stages of the pandemic, virus infection rates have remained very low and the total mortality rate is in the hundreds – not thousands. With the ability to spread out on safari and therefore naturally social distance, the country is an ideal destination for travelers at this time. There were several days that I was out on game drives and saw only a few other safari vehicles the entire time, and in some cases none at all.

With this amazing experience in mind, I have put together a small group trip (minimum 6 and maximum 12 people) which I will personally escort in early December 2020.

The following is a report I received from a client who also recently returned from Kenya with his family.

All in all, an amazing trip.  We felt incredibly safe and comfortable.  In most ways, far safer than back in the states.  Kenya seems to have done an excellent job with the virus overall (and virtually all cases are in Nairobi and Mombasa where we really did not spend much if any time).  Coupled with the excellent safety measures in place we would recommend the trip to anyone. Thank you so so much.  Now we just have about 10,000 pictures to sort through and edit.”
