Duba Plains Camp, a Réserve-Collection luxury safari camp and the epitome of the Botswana safari, sits in the heart of the Okavango Delta in the Duba Concession. The private 33,000-hectare Duba Concession is a matrix of palm-dotted islands, flood plains, and woodland. Great Plains Conservation co-founders, National Geographic filmmakers, conservationists, and explorers Dereck and Beverly Joubert chose this area for many of their award-winning wildlife films.
Duba Plains Camp offers five bespoke, private suites. The design ensures each suite blends into the landscape whilst evoking a classical 1920’s inspired African safari style. All the suites are on raised, recycled railway sleeper decking. Each suite has an indoor lounge area and beautifully appointed en-suite facilities: a flush loo, double vanities, indoor and outdoor showers, and a luxurious bath. Ceiling fans and an environmentally friendly air-conditioning system over the bed ensure a comfortable climate. Relax on your private veranda, complete with a private swimming pool and shaded sala, whilst enjoying stunning views of the surrounding floodplain and the wildlife that wander past.
Duba Plains Camp is also a proud Relais & Châteaux member.
